About the Journal

OJS DEV is a peer-reviewed, open-access specialist journal within the OJS DEV (OJS DEV) publishing platform. It provides a scholarly forum for high-quality research, critical inquiry and innovation in Law, Policy and Development.

The journal welcomes original work in constitutional and administrative law, human rights, governance, public policy, international and comparative law, commercial law, environmental law, development law, legal institutions, justice systems, and law-and-development scholarship. It gives particular attention to research that responds to African priorities, strengthens knowledge and professional practice, supports innovation and sustainable development, or contributes evidence and ideas with wider international significance.

All manuscripts are subject to initial editorial assessment, and suitable submissions proceed through a double-blind peer-review process. Published articles are made openly accessible to support broad scholarly visibility, exchange and use.
